I have over 18 years' experience in managing charity legacy fundraising and administration. My mission is to help legacy giving to flourish.
I am proud to have worked for Macmillan Cancer Support and Save the Children and to have served the wider legacy sector as a member of Remember a Charity's Campaign Council, as Chair of Will Aid and as CEO at the Institute of Legacy Management.
I am a member of the Institute of Legacy Management and the author of the Marketing Strategy chapter of the fourth edition of the Directory for Social Change's Legacy and In Memory fundraising guide.
I established LegacyGivingExpert.co.uk in December 2018. Since then I have been working on a freelance basis across the not for profit sector on organisational Healthchecks; strategy and operational planning; toolkit development; training delivery; proposition work; recruitment support and providing interim cover.
Clients have included: Mind, Marie Curie; Hospice UK; Action for Children; Arthritis Action; Officers’ Association, The National Portrait Gallery; International Committee of the Red Cross and Mary Stevens, Havens , St Leonard’s and KEMP hospices. I have also undertaken interim roles for Cystic Fibrosis Trust; Christian Aid; Leonard Cheshire; UNHCR and Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
