Chris Millward, Legacy Giving Consultant

About me

I have over a decade of experience in managing charity legacy fundraising and administration.

I am proud to have worked for Macmillan Cancer Support and Save the Children

and to have served the wider legacy sector as a member of Remember a Charity's Campaign Council,

as Chair of Will Aid and as CEO at the Institute of Legacy Management.

I am a member of both the Institute of Fundraising and the Institute of Legacy Management.

I am the author of the Marketing Strategy chapter of the fourth edition of

the Directory for Social Change's Legacy and In Memory fundraising guide.

I established in December 2018.  Since then I have been working on a freelance basis

across the not for profit sector on organisational Healthchecks; strategy and operational planning; toolkit development;

training delivery; proposition work; recruitment support and providing interim cover.

Clients have included: Mind, Marie Curie; Hospice UK; Action for Children; Arthritis Action; Officers’ Association,

Mary Stevens, Havens and St Leonard’s hospices; Farewill and Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
